Our mission is to encourage more people from the community to get involved with St. Peter's Church and participate in community events. Such events are social, enjoyable and foster a real sense of care for St. Peter's Church and its grounds. This is especially the case at St Peter's being the only community hub in the parish.
Core Charitable Objects and Mission
Advancing Faith: Strengthening church leaders and congregations to make disciples, promoting Christian education, and defending the faith.
Social and Community Action: Supporting local projects like food banks, community markets, bereavement support, and youth outreach programs through organizations like the Church of England.
Mission Agencies: Partnering with specialised groups to support national and international outreach.
Horninghold is a small hamlet of 20 houses surrounding St Peters church. The church is our charity and it operates as a religious Centre and our only community hub. Charity GB-COE-619110 is the unique organization identifier for the Parochial Church Council [PCC] of Horninghold, an organization responsible for managing the historic, Grade II* listed St. Peter's Church in Horninghold, Leicestershire UK.
The 2026 restoration work of the church building was part funded by various grant bodies and community supported fundraising events. The project included the creation of this website (horninghold.org). This domain name is our official domain and is focused on the principal activities of our charity, including the encouragement of more people from the community to get involved with St. Peter's Church and participate in community events and restoration projects. Such events foster a real sense of care for St. Peter's Church and its churchyard.
The domain horninghold.org is owned and maintained by Horninghold Parochial Church Council.
